Book Summary:
This story is about a young woman named Feyre. When we meet her, she is out hunting for her family. Her family has fallen on hard times and she has taken up the responsibility of taking care of them. She has her father, who has an injury, and two older sisters that expect her to take care of everything. While out hunting, she ends up killing this wolf, but it wasn’t really a wolf. It was a faerie. And this leads to Feyre having to give up her life for the one she took. She does have a choice though. She can die or live the rest of her life in the Prythian, the faerie realm, and never see her family again.
Feyre ends up going off to Prythian to live with one of the high lords named Tamlin, who is an immortal faerie. We follow Feyre’s life in Prythian, how she deals with her new surroundings and the new people in her life as well as never seeing her family again. There is romance and shades of politics in this book.
